Members on a painting holiday
Discussing one of the still life projects
We have an Exhibition of members paintings once or twice a year and the pictures below are taken from events over the last three years
A number of members have taken part in our painting holiday which we hold in North Wales and Maenen Abbey is ideally situated between Conway and Betws y Coed with lots of opportunity to paint and the occasional coffee.
Our venue at the World of Glass is ideal for setting up still life and members have painted glass makers at work as well as setting up our own still life exhibits.
A monthly newsletter is distributed by email and gives a programme of each Saturday’s topics together with news information

The Bob Anderson Trophy
Bob’s daughters Carole and Jean called in to the Sankey Suite to present our Art Club with their donation for the Memorial Trophy for our good friend Bob. The donation was a magnificent £230 and the Bob Anderson Memorial Bowl will be presented each year, probably at the ‘Conversazione’, to one Member, for an artwork selected by the Members: it will be suitably engraved.
